The enormous shock of the mass consciousness of the Israeli Jewish population itself, in front of the civil casualties, dead and hostages, comes with recognition that occupation and repression of the Palestinian people by a supremacist “Jewish State” cannot provide any “national haven for Jews” but a deadly trap and disaster.

After the last stage of the Karabakh war came to an end, we had pointed out to the possibility of the war turning into oppression and massacre against the Armenian inhabitants of Karabakh/Artsakh. This possibility has turned into reality within only a short time. The Azerbaijani government is making a concerted effort for the military victory not to turn into a public relations disgrace. As we had explained in our previous article, the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev had declared shortly after the victory that he wanted to turn Karabakh into a paradise for the Armenian residents of the region also. Further, he allowed for observers from a host of Western countries and the United Nations to come to the region.

Dahası, bir dizi Batı ülkesinden ve Birleşmiş Milletler’den gözlemcilerin bölgeye gelmesini kabul etti.

Τα πρώτα σημάδια της σύγκρουσης του Καραμπάχ είχαν εμφανιστεί πριν ακόμη καταρρεύσει η Σοβιετική Ένωση˙ αλλά έφτασε στο ζενίθ της μετατρεπόμενη σε ανοιχτό πόλεμο μεταξύ των δύο κρατών όταν η Ένωση Σοβιετικών Σοσιαλιστικών Δημοκρατιών –της οποίας τόσο το Αζερμπαϊτζάν όσο και η Αρμενία ήταν μέρη ως σοβιετικές δημοκρατίες– κατέρρευσε. Η Αρμενία είχε βγει με σίγουρη νίκη από αυτόν τον πρώτο πόλεμο, ειδικά λόγω του σχετικά μεγάλου αριθμού αρμενικών στρατευμάτων στις Σοβιετικές Ένοπλες Δυνάμεις. Από το τέλος αυτού του πρώτου πολέμου το 1994, παρόλο που το διεθνές δίκαιο έχει αναγνωρίσει την περιοχή του Ναγκόρνο-Καραμπάχ (της οποίας ο πληθυσμός είναι συντριπτικά Αρμένικος) ως έδαφος του Αζερμπαϊτζάν, οι γύρω διοικητικές μονάδες βρίσκονται υπό αρμενική κυριαρχία. Το ίδιο το Ναγκόρνο-Καραμπάχ κυβερνιόταν από μια Δημοκρατία του Ναγκόρνο-Καραμπάχ (ή στα Αρμενικά, Αρτσάχ), που διοικούνταν από δυνάμεις εθνικά αρμένικες και δεν αναγνωριζόταν από άλλα κράτη (κάτι παρόμοιο που έγινε με την “Τουρκική Δημοκρατία της Βόρειας Κύπρου”).
Üçüncü Qarabağ müharibəsinin qaynar münaqişə mərhələsi sürətlə başa çatdı. İlk əlamətləri hələ Sovet İttifaqı dağılmazdan əvvəl müşahidə olunan Qarabağ münaqişəsi (həm Azərbaycanın, həm Ermənistanın Sovet respublikaları kimi tərkib hissəsi olduğu) Sovet Sosialist Respublikaları İttifaqının dağılması ilə iki dövlət arasındakı açıq müharibəyə çevrilərək pik həddinə çatmışdı. The Third Karabakh War, a conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia, ended swiftly in 2020. The roots of the conflict trace back to the collapse of the Soviet Union, when both nations gained independence. Despite international law designating Nagorno-Karabakh as Azerbaijani territory, Armenian forces have held control over the region since 1994. Azerbaijan, supported by Turkey and Israel, shifted the military balance leading up to the 2020 war. In 2020, Azerbaijan capitalized on internal strife in Armenia and, with support from Turkey and Israel, achieved a significant victory.
Üçüncü Karabağ savaşının sıcak çatışma aşaması hızla sona erdi. İlk nüveleri daha Sovyetler Birliği yıkılmadan önce görülmeye başlanan Karabağ çatışmaları (hem Azerbaycan’ın hem Ermenistan’ın, Sovyet cumhuriyetleri olarak parçası olduğu) Sovyet Sosyalist Cumhuriyetler Birliği’nin yıkılmasıyla iki devlet arasındaki açık savaşa dönüşerek doruk noktasına ulaşmıştı. Bu ilk savaşta, özellikle Sovyet Silahlı Kuvvetleri içerisindeki Ermeni birliklerin sayıca üstünlüğü sayesinde Ermenistan net bir zafer kazanmıştı. 1994’te sona eren bu savaştan beri, uluslararası hukuk nüfusu büyük oranda Ermeni olan Dağlık-Karabağ’ı Azerbaycan toprağı olarak tanısa da, bölgeyi çevreleyen idari birimler Ermenistan işgali altında bulunuyor, Dağlık-Karabağ’ın kendisi ise diğer devletlerin resmi olarak tanımadığı (KKTC gibi düşünülebilir), Ermeni güçlerin yönettiği bir Dağlık-Karabağ Cumhuriyeti ya da Ermenicesi ile Artsah Cumhuriyeti tarafından yönetiliyordu.

he world is witnessing unprecedented tectonic shifts in global history since WWII, particularly in Europe. The aftermath of the 2008 global financial crisis has turned Europe into a Zone of Tempests, affecting both the Global South and a new periphery within the Global North. Europe, once the birthplace of capitalism, now grapples with crises in finance, debt, inflation, and rising interest rates. This turmoil has led to political polarization, with far-right forces gaining ground across the continent.
Greece stands as a microcosm of Europe's problems, burdened by debt and subject to harsh EU-imposed austerity measures. It ranks high in poverty within the EU, with widespread unemployment, precarious labor conditions, and soaring living costs. The Greek State, entangled in NATO and US interests, also serves as a fortress against migrants.
On August 24th there was a Round Table on "A Global Overview of Trotskyism Today" where our comrade from EEK, Savvas Michail-Matsas spoke on "The Situation in Europe and Greece - the Challenges for Trotskyism".
We assert the right of every organization to determine its internal direction and form, even within the framework or limitations imposed by the capitalist system or those they themselves assume. The government's intervention through the Supreme Court of Justice in a legal maneuver against the PCV (Communist Party of Venezuela) appears to aim at preventing their electoral participation with their party emblem and symbols, with the leadership elected in their last congress, and with a candidate who criticizes them. The Supreme Court is providing the new 'patriotic' PCV with all the structure needed to participate with candidates subservient to the government's plans, which does not want to tolerate any dissent from its left.

İçlerinde kadın ve çocukların da olduğu yaklaşık 700 göçmen çaresizce boğularak hayatını kaybetti. Bunun üzerine uluslararası basında ve hatta Avrupa Birliği içinde, Yunanistan devleti yetkililerinin bu olaydaki sorumluluğu üzerinden bir uluslararası siyasi kriz patlak verdi.

Pylos. About 700 migrants, mainly women and children, were drowned helplessly. A great
political crisis erupted internationally in the international mass media and even in the European
Union on the direct responsibilities of the Greek State authorities.
At one of Vladimir Putin's direct meetings with citizens in a TV studio, the President of the Russian Federation, addressing a journalist and offering her a seat, called her Masha. She replied: "Thank you, Vova", and then in a video posted on the Internet, she explained why she answered in such a manner to the president, the Supreme Commander-in-chief, and so on, and so on: “I wasn't afraid to address him like that. What's so scary about that? He called me Masha! And I'm actually Maria Dmitrievna! So I called him Vova in response!”*

Le 14 juin 2023, un petit bateau de pêche transportant des centaines de réfugiés a coulé au large de la côte grecque de Pylos. Environ 700 migrants, principalement des femmes et des enfants, se sont noyés, impuissants. Çok geçmeden deklarasyonun barışı ve istikrarı sağlamaktan ne kadar uzak olduğu anlaşıldı. Sonuç olarak, bu beyanname ile burjuvazi başlattığı savaşı bitirmemekle kalmamış, aksine antlaşma, savaş sonrası gerginliğin temelini oluşturarak burjuvazinin etnik barıştan yana olmadığını ispatlamıştır. The 15th Camp of EEK was successfully held from Wednesday 26th July to Sunday 30th of this month, in Evia’s Eretria. The high temperature of the days, did not deter comrades from all over the country and abroad, to take part in the work of the Camp, enjoying at the same time the recreation with collective life, work and effort for the conception of the New, in the situation that is being formed internationally and in the Greece.

The first news that came out of this summit is Erdoğan’s support for Sweden’s NATO membership. This decision is against the interests of the peoples of the world in general and of Turkey in particular.
