In the year 2026, the Ramadan holiday of the Muslim world coincides with the Newroz holiday of the peoples of West and Central Asia. For those toiling, impoverished people living under the yoke of Imperialism and colonialism, there has always been a drop of bitterness next to the happy, hopeful, fraternal and peaceful celebrations of these holidays. Today, once again our peoples celebrate these holidays under the backdrop of illegitimate wars, destruction, and massacres of imperialism and colonialism. In Palestine, the Al-Aqsa Mosque is besieged, and bombs rain down upon the Iranian and Lebanese people. The oppression of the Kurdish people and the Kurdish language remains; their most legitimate and rightful demands are met with violent repression or turned into articles of dirty negotiations, blackmail, and threats. In such circumstances, the struggle of the working and toiling classes of Turkey for bread and liberty against capital and tyranny cannot be separated from the struggle of the Kurdish people for emancipation and equality.

از همان نخستین لحظه، ما ماهیت ناعادلانه، غارتگرانه و تروریستیِ جنگی را که در ۲۸ فوریه بهطور هماهنگ از سوی آمریکا و اسرائیل علیه ایران آغاز شد، افشا کردهایم. از همان روز نخست جنگ، پس از هدف قرار گرفتن یک مدرسهی دخترانه در شهر میناب با سه موشک تامهاوک، آمریکا و اسرائیل حملات خود علیه مردم غیرنظامی و زیرساختهای مدنی و اقتصادی را بیوقفه ادامه دادهاند. ترامپ در آغاز جنگ، در پیامی ویدیویی خطاب به مردم ایران اعلام کرد: «زمان آزادی شما نزدیک است» و افزود: «در پناهگاهها بمانید، از خانه خارج نشوید؛ بیرون بسیار خطرناک است؛ همهجا بمب خواهد بارید؛ وقتی کارمان تمام شد، حکومتتان را خود به دست بگیرید.» این ادعا که آمریکا و اسرائیل برای خیر مردم ایران علیه یک رژیم بد میجنگند، چیزی جز دروغی بزرگ نبود. مردم ایران حتی فرصت رفتن به پناهگاهها را نیافتند و مستقیماً هدف ترور امپریالیستی–صهیونیستی قرار گرفتند. اسرائیل نیز، از حملهی زمینی در لبنان تا بستن مسجدالاقصی بر روی نماز عید، ترور را بهصورت مستمر گسترش داده و نهادینه کرده است.
We have exposed from day one onwards that the unjust, pillaging, and terrorist character of the war the US and Israel launched on Iran in coordination with each other on February 28th. The US and Israel have continually targeted the civilian population and the civilian and economic infrastructure after bombing a girls’ school in the city of Menab with three Tomahawk missiles on the very first day of the war. Trump had addressed the people of Iran at the very outbreak of the war in his video message: “The hour of your freedom is at hand”, and had added, “Stay sheltered. Don't leave your home. It's very dangerous outside. Bombs will be dropping everywhere. When we are finished, take over your government. It will be yours to take.” It was a huge lie that the US and Israel were waging war on a regime consisting of bad guys for the benefit of the people of Iran. Even before they could take shelter, the people of Iran became targets of imperialist-Zionist terror. Israel is making its terrorism permanent and expanding it from the launch of its ground offensive in Lebanon to its closing down of al-Aqsa Mosque to the Eid prayer.

260 εργαζόμενοι που απασχολούνταν στο εργοστάσιο Smart Solar στη Gebze (Λίβυσσα) της Τουρκίας, όπου είναι οργανωμένο το ταξικό συνδικάτο Birleşik Metal-İş (Ενωμένοι Χαλυβουργοί), κατέβηκαν σε απεργία ενάντια στην προσπάθεια του εργοδότη να επιβάλει μηδενικές αυξήσεις μισθών.
Το εργοστάσιο βρίσκεται στην πόλη Γκεμπζέ, ένα βιομηχανικό κέντρο πολύ κοντά στην Κωνσταντινούπολη, στην ανατολική πλευρά. Μετά από 113 ημέρες, υπέγραψαν σύμβαση, εξασφαλίζοντας αυξήσεις μισθών. Το πιο σημαντικό είναι ότι η επίθεση του εργοδότη, που απέλυσε 47 εργαζόμενους συμπεριλαμβανομένων εκπροσώπων των εργαζομένων, αντιμετωπίστηκε με επιτυχία από την αποφασιστικότητα των εργαζομένων της Smart Solar.

260 workers employed at the Smart Solar plant in Gebze, where the class struggle union Birleşik Metal-İş (United Steel Workers) of Turkey is organized, went on strike against the boss’s attempt to impose zero wage increases. The plant is located in Gebze, an industrial hub right near Istanbul. After 113 days, they signed a contract, securing pay raises. More importantly, the boss’s attack, where he fired 47 workers, including workers’ representatives, was countered successfully by the resoluteness of the Smart Solar workers. The strike began and ended with exactly 260 workers, with no losses. This 113-day strike by the Smart Solar workers, carried out with great patience, determination, and organization, should set an example for the entire working class of Turkey, demonstrating once again that no one is strong enough to force the hand of the organized worker.
Birleşik Metal-İş sendikasının örgütlü olduğu Smart Solar Gebze fabrikasında çalışan 260 işçi patronun sıfır zam dayatmasına karşı 22 Ekim’de greve çıkmışlardı. 113 günün sonunda sözleşme imzalandı. Anlaşmaya göre fabrikadaki en düşük giydirilmiş ücret net 63 bin lira oldu. Daha da önemlisi patronun bütün işçi temsilcilerinin de aralarında olduğu 47 işçiyi işten atarak yaptığı saldırı Smart Solar işçilerinin kararlı duruşu sonucunda püskürtüldü. 260 işçi ile başlayan grev bir kişi eksilmeden 260 kişi ile sonuçlandı. Smart Solar işçilerinin 113 gün boyunca sabırla, inatla ve Türkiye işçi sınıfına örnek olacak bir örgütlülükle devam ettikleri bu grev örgütlü işçinin bileğini bükmeye kimsenin gücünün yetmeyeceğini bir kez daha göstermiş oldu.
