The solutions achieved by imperialism in Ukraine and the Middle East have been wrecked in both countries. The goals in those wars are all unachieved. We can talk about losses that trigger new projects where it is intended to start a wider escalation. The Ukrainian people have suffered more by paying a heavy price with their blood by going to war for American interests. In Western Europe, the people are tired of seeing that imperialism is looking for the next proxy countries to continue its wars against Russia.
In light of this background, European citizens gave answers that split the political field far and wide, the so-called from the extreme left to the extreme right. The all colors of the rulers of the German-French axis were knocked out by the fascist Le Pen and the AfD Nazi party. Both social democrats and conservatives and liberals claimed that Europe is now in danger if the Putinist parties win the elections. This is a false conclusion. The election was not won by pro-Putin forces, but by the anger of the people towards those in power.
Emanuel Macron warns that Europe is close to its own point of death. According to the modern Bonaparte of France, Europe is trapped under the pressure of Russia, China and possibly the Trumpian USA. Due to the prevailing insecurity, Macron appealed for unity. Europe was forced to follow the war project planned by the United States and set e.g. sanctions that backfired like a boomerang. Now that it looks like Russia is winning the war, at least a third of EU countries feel insecure. As a result, the countries in question may turn behind Trump according to Orban's model. Bilateral agreements with various European countries and the USA would be the order of the day after that. This would break up the EU even further. In addition to Germany and France, the extreme right was successful in Belgium, Holland, Spain or Italy. The extreme right did not succeed in Scandinavia, neither in Denmark and Sweden nor in Finland, where it suffered a crushing defeat.
In Finland, the True Finns Party, which is in charge of the government, has been seen to be responsible for budget cuts that wreck the standard of living, curtailing the right to strike and other measures that attack civil rights. The far-right's defeat is the government's defeat, even though the Prime Minister's right-wing party, Kokooomus, did well. The coalition government is shaking in its joints. Even in Finland, the irreconcilable contradictions of capitalism can no longer be resolved. They all explode by causing insanely strong centrifugal force. Finland is also trying to solve the problems in question by turning to the United States. After the elections, Finland has signed bilateral defense agreements (DCA) with the USA.
The DCA agreement has been brought to parliament for confirmation. It gives American soldiers access to 15 military areas. In addition, Americans get unimpeded mobility and legal protection throughout the country. Americans are also allowed to store weapons in our country without limits. Storage of nuclear weapons is not excluded either. Based on these agreements, 47 new military bases will be available to the Americans throughout the Nordic countries. Of these, Sweden will hand over 17 military territories, Denmark three and Norway 12. In addition to these, the United States can expand its military presence by receiving territories. Additional areas are agreed between different countries and the agreements are kept completely secret. In addition to the Nordic countries, countries that have signed agreements similar to the DCA include Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Bulgaria, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
The Marxist Workers' League has decided to boycott the elections. Our small forces and the electoral law did not allow us to participate in it with our own electoral list. Tactics so that we would vote for NATO and anti-imperialist forces were impossible. Among those who participated in the elections, no one who did not speak about the necessity of building a European army, or about the security offered by NATO, or for the defeat of Zelensky's fascist army. The Left Alliance was a member of the government that applied for NATO membership, and SKP (Communist Party) condemns Russian imperialism as the main cause of the conflict.
The geopolitical situation and the class struggle in Europe are at a very critical point. Disagreements among the left are not just differences between different opinions. When the situation escalates, different sides of the disputes can be pushed to opposite sides of the barricades. The Left Alliance's Li Andersson promised to clean the EU's left group of all “Putinists”. Together with Syriza, SKP, which presents itself as a member of the European left, did not criticize that reactionary thesis either. Such statements are very dangerous. The bourgeoisie will soon prepare by tightening its legislation and narrowing democratic rights even further. Just as it happened in Ukraine, also in the rest of Europe, anyone who opposes Zelensky or Zionism is put underground as an illegal.
There are no winners and losers in this election. Disintegration processes occur among the winners and losers in terms of the number of votes. The winner of the election is the emergence of capitalism's rot. And it can be seen on all levels, politically, economically, geopolitically and even culturally. The same contradictions that surfaced are also plaguing the central bank, the ECB. If the Paris-Berlin axis cannot coordinate its forces, then the stability is shaken. In the immediate aftermath of the post-election bond market shake-up and the rapid sell-off of French bonds, there were rumors of Macron's resignation before the latter hastily announces the upcoming elections in few weeks. In the end, the euro currency will slide before the US interest rate announcements. This forces the ECB to stop buying government bonds and reduce their holdings. The hotbed of both political and economic development will be France. Macron quickly dissolved the parliament by giving the extreme right a chance to try hosting capitalism, thereby eroding its support. In France as elsewhere in Europe, the victory of the extreme right does not mean a defeat for the class struggle. All the decisive battles are before us. And that's where the French proletariat knows how to behave; and show the fascists their place in the dustbin of history. The European Union is the weakest link in the global chain of capitalism. Its working people will crush the counter-revolution wearing both fascist and liberal faces. All the war plans of imperialism will also fail in the same force.
